The aim is to provide the towns of Villafranca de Cordoba and villa del Rio in the province of Cordoba, Spain, the necessary urban wasterwater drainage and treatment infrastructures in compliance with DIRECTIVE 91/271/EEC.
To do so, wastewater treatment plants with extended aeration activaded sludge systems have been constructed in both municipalities.
For the collection of wastewater in both localities, 400 mm HDPE gravity collectors and 300 mm and 50 mm ductile cast iron discharge manifolds have also been installed.
